If you would like to take this opportunity to make Jesus the Lord of your life, pray this simple prayer:

"Jesus, I repent of my sins and I believe that you died for my sins on the cross. I also believe that you were raised from the dead and I invite you to come into my heart and become my Lord and Savior."

If you prayed that prayer from your heart, you have just received your salvation. You might be thinking where do I go from here? I would encourage you to start attending a church that you feel comfortable with and begin to grow in your spiritual walk. If you have never been baptised by immersion in water, the church you choose can direct you on how to be baptised. Baptism siginifies your public declaration of faith and also signifies your committment to follow Jesus.

When you are baptised you are burying your old life to sin and rising from those depths just as Jesus did on the day of his resurrection. It is truly, "Down with the old man and up with the new." When you come out of the water, you have a new life and new beginning in Christ.
